Phil Doncon - Paint Storm

Found in: News

On Friday 9 June the students were entertained by Phil Doncon - Paint Storm. He inspired students through dance and visual arts whilst teaching an important message of developing resilience.

Students were amazed by his talent and the speed at which he worked. Over the course of an hour he had completed a huge 18' x 6' canvas, describing through painted images of how he has bounced back from failures in his life.

One of the images he painted was of a phoenix and explained how he had been knocked back with his original plan for a career as a football player, and then built a new vision ( rising from the ashes, creating new life, like the mythical bird).
