St James’ Anglican School is currently looking for suitable applicants for the following position:
- 0.6 Science Laboratory Technician – Maternity Cover (Term time only).
St James’ is seeking an enthusiastic and diligent Laboratory Technician to join the School Science Department. It would be advantageous if applicants hold a Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques (or the equivalent). It would also be useful (but not essential) if the applicant had Occupational Health & Safety Representative Training. Candidates should be prepared to work three days per week during school terms, with some additional hours during the holidays.
The Laboratory Technician role is both practical and clerical. The successful applicant will need to be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment, to meet deadlines.
