In the last week of Term 1 49 brave, adventurous and enthusiastic students embarked on their Year 5 Camp. The group headed to Swan Valley Adventure Centre, where they had the opportunity to complete several challenges, all while getting to know one another better. The students made their way through an obstacle course, flew high and fast on the flying fox (some even attempting to go upside down), worked as a team of survivors through the ‘blackout zone’, canoed and swam in the still and calm Swan River, rock climbed, built creative cubbies and learnt the skills to make an effective fire.

This camp was an energy filled three days, focusing on one main element ‘teamwork!’ Well done to all Year 5 students for giving everything a go and ‘challenging yourself by choice’. We could not be any prouder of each and every one of you.

A big thank you also to our amazing parent helpers who gave up their time to join us on this adventurous camp.
