We congratulate four Year 10 students, Isobel Hunter, Elissa Quinn-Williams, Hayley Greig and Anya Coetzeee, who have been successfully selected to represent St James’ Anglican School as Anglicare Ambassadors for 2020.

Anglicare WA runs a program for students in Years 10 to be involved in their community program and serve as Ambassadors. This role is for a year and involves students raising awareness and funds around youth homelessness, with particular focus on the Street Connect program. School Ambassadors will hear from guest speakers and participate in educational activities, raising their awareness of community needs and social justice.  On Wednesday 19 February all Anglicare Ambassadors attended the School Ambassadors 2020 Launch at the Wollaston Centre in Mount Claremont. This conference was run by Anglicare WA and is an event to celebrate the launch of their 2020 program and to officially welcome the ambassadors from 17 different Anglican schools.
