The talented Year 7 Home Economic students made close to 300 Saltbush Sausage Rolls to celebrate NAIDOC Day. The Saltbush, sourced from one of our teacher’s gardens, was dried and made into dust to flavour the sausage rolls.
The students also had the opportunity to see paperbark and eat other native foods such as Pepper Berries and Dried Bush Tomatoes. A wonderful inclusion for the Year 7s to celebrate NAIDOC day.
