After massive storms the night before we all held our breath on the way to school on Friday 5 July, hoping the rain would hold off for the St James’ Day celebrations. Our prayers were answered as the clouds parted and the sun shone brightly!

The day began with a whole school Eucharist in the newly completed Gym. Students then took part in a Pilgrim’s Walk around the school grounds (mimicking the Camino trek St James made around Europe) before a variety of activities in the afternoon both in and outside the classroom. The biggest task was the mass tree planting on the bank outside Administration, which Year 7 and 8 students did with pride and precision. We can’t wait to see the hill in full bloom later in the year. The day ended with a Colour Run, to raise money for Make a Difference WA.

Thank you to all staff, students and families for an amazing day.
