During Term 3, students from Year 3 to Year 6 took part in the Maths Association of Western Australia’s competition – Have Sum Fun Online.

For the Year 3s, this was their first exposure to the competition, whilst the Year 6s have been doing it for a few years. The questions required the students to work together to solve the various problems.

We are pleased to share the results with you from Term 3.
The Year 3 teams finished 14th and 41st out of 49 teams.
The Year 4 teams finished 14th and 32nd out of 54 teams.
The Year 5 teams finished 8th and 33rd out of 60 teams.
The Year 6 teams finished 2nd and 5th out of 53 teams.

Well done to all teams, especially to the Year 6s who performed exceptionally in coming second.
