Last week, the Year 10 cohort travelled down to Margaret River for their Outdoor Education expedition. Students hiked a total of 40.2km, abseiled into Calgardup Cave, canoed at the Margaret River mouth and tasted differed bush tucker. Students were required to set up and pack down their tent each day and cooked their food on a Trangia, an opportunity to show off their culinary skills or go hungry!

All students displayed the true St James’ spirit throughout the camp and felt a sense of accomplishment for achieving their personal goals during their time away from home. Staff and volunteers were impressed with the determination and attitude of all students. A unique and fun experience for all involved.

Thank you to all the St James’ staff, parent volunteers and Year 11 students who assisted during the week’s adventures, your help and support were invaluable to our Year 10 students.
